Lubex DieselFleet SD 15w40 CK-4 is a high-performance heavy-duty diesel engine oil specifically formulated to meet the requirements of EPA 2007 compliant diesel engines equipped with after treatment devices such as diesel oxidation catalysts and particulate filters. This oil provides unsurpassed control of soot, protection of piston rings and cylinder liners as well as exceptional protection of valve train systems used in the latest heavy duty diesel engines. The MID saps lower phosphorous level and lower sulfated ash content will also suit the needs of mixed fleet operators, including those with petrol engines with catalytic converters where 15w/40 viscosity is preferred.
Lubex DieselFleet SD 15/40 CK-4 is recommended for all heavy-duty diesel engine vehicles manufactured from 2017 specifying a 15W/40 CK-4 diesel or SN petrol rating, including those vehicles fitted with turbochargers. It is ideal for mixed fleet use in all late model trucks, earth moving machinery, light commercial vehicles and cars where a multi-functional use oil is required. On Highway drain intervals from 30,000 kms to 50,000 kms & Earthmoving and agriculture engines to 500 hours are suitable where application / OEM requirements permit. Maximum oil drain intervals will be determined by factors such as fuel burn, engine type and engine load. Lubex recommends following manufacturers service manuals for recommended oil drain intervals. Extended oil drains may be possible if an oil analysis testing regime is in place.
